Just had it installed 2 days ago… looks trim, efficient, ideal for a small area. However was disappointed to see that previous customer had mentioned the cheap plastic locking device, and yes my installer noticed it right away. Cheap trick on a rather expensive. Disappointing that it had not been upgraded.

The delivery was fast, the stairs were securely packaged and the installation instructions were clear and precise.
It only took a few hours to install and fit perfectly into the advertised rough opening!
These attic stairs are much better in quality and function than expected. I have always purchased the best quality aluminum stairs that I could find locally, and these far exceeded these stairs as well as my expectations. I am considering replacing my other existing attic stairs to get the better quality and especially the insulatoin and air sealing between the living space and the attic.

This is not an insulated door. There is no seal where door meets frame. They simply are using the r-value of the wood. Shame on marketing team. We'll made but not insulated
