Our policy allows for returns of items purchased through the website for up to 30 days from the date of delivery.
If 30 days have gone by since the delivery of the purchased items, Attic-ladders.com cannot offer you a refund or exchange.
- To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
- The customer has the right to return the goods within 30 days of receiving the ordered product without giving any explanation.
- Online returns can only be accepted upon presentation of the purchase confirmation (the product should be shipped with the original receipt).
This policy does not apply to the following, non-returnable items:
- Stock items that are cut, altered, or damaged;
- Stock items that are not suitable for sale as a new product;
- Stock items that are removed from their original packaging;
Attic-ladders.com, in its sole discretion, may extend the time for refund or exchange as the result of extenuating circumstances.
I. REFUNDS
The refund of the payment will be made using the same method of payment as used by the customer.
If the refund is approved, then the refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 30 days.
In special situations, Attic-ladders.com reserves the right to choose the method of reimbursement (there is no additional cost for a customer in case of choosing a different refund method).
If another product was added to the order for free or at a reduced price (as part of special offers), no refund will be issued until the product is returned to Attic-ladders.com together with the returned merchandise.
The returned product cannot have any permanent traces of use, meaning that it will be delivered in a condition suitable for sale as a new product.
Returned stocked material must be in new condition and original packaging; any sign of use, installation and/or customization (holes, screws, etc.) may result in rejection of a refund.
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded. Discounted items cannot be returned or exchanged.
II. REFUND ON DAMAGED ITEMS DUE TO SHIPPING
Shipping Damages to be reported no later than 7 days after the order receipt in order to submit a successful shipping claim. Please keep the original packaging and material. Successful Shipping Claim takes on average 3 business days and allows for product replacement free of charge or refund.
III. REFUND ON CUSTOMER RETURNS
15% restock fee will be applied towards the returned goods- Customer is responsible for shipping lebel.
IV. EXCHANGES
The exchange of goods is carried out by returning the given merchandise and placing another separate order.
When receiving the shipment, make sure that the product is not damaged. If damage is found, inform Attic-ladders.com within 48 hours about the damage. Send us an email at info@attic-ladders.com and report the situation - photos documenting the damage and description are required. If it is found justified, the product will be replaced with a new one and Attic-ladders.com shall have an opportunity to cure any non-conforming goods.
V. SHIPPING
To return your product, you should mail your product to: Attic-ladders.com, located at 1300 Jarvis Ave, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007.
You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
