My attic previously had a very old-fashioned access—just a drywall panel covering the opening. I replaced it with a UNI metal folding ladder and I am truly happy with the final result. It is sturdy and airtight, providing a good seal against cold and warm air coming from the attic. The ladder is very easy to operate and has a solid weight capacity. Easy installation
I've lived in my townhouse for over 30 years. The attic access was in the master bedroom closet and we climbed up/down 6 foot ladder to get in/out. We FINALLY got this and it's a game changer for us. My husband said it was easy to install and he moved access into the upstairs hallway. It makes getting in there and out a breeze. It did take a little time to get used to the 4 fold stairs but with new flooring and shelves upstairs, we're starting the decluttering year off right!

I just replaced my 30 year old pull down stair with the S-GLOB. The installation instructions are written and illustrated very well, The unit was packaged very well and the unit itself was of very good quality. The S-GLOB seals well, works smoothly, has an insulated-thick structural door that is not expected to warp or sag. The ladder has comfortable toe relief and is easy to climb. Even the wood in the ladder is clear and looks nice. I have a Louisville aluminum in the garage that is a more traditional style and I do not like it as well.
