- Load capacity;
- Insulation specifications;

The rough opening may differ from the outside dimensions of the attic ladder box.

Attic Ladders is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation, unauthorized modification, misuse, failure to follow manufacturer instructions, or installation contrary to applicable requirements, to the extent permitted by law.
5. BUILDING CODES & FIRE RATINGS
Not all products sold through Attic-Ladders.com are fire-rated.
A product should not be considered fire-rated unless the applicable product listing expressly identifies it as such.
Building-code requirements may vary by location and application.
Customers and installers are responsible for determining whether a particular product and installation comply with applicable building codes, fire-rating requirements, permits, ordinances, and other requirements.

Products purchased at a sale, promotional, reduced, clearance, or discounted price are considered FINAL SALE.
FINAL SALE — NO RETURNS. NO EXCHANGES. NO REFUNDS.
This includes products purchased from our Sale collection and products purchased during applicable promotional events, including seasonal sales such as our Labor Day Sale.
Final Sale restrictions do not limit rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law and do not prevent customers from submitting eligible claims regarding incorrect products, verified defects, or shipping damage.

10. RETURNS & REFUNDS
Eligible regular-priced products may qualify for return within 30 days of delivery, subject to our Return & Refund Policy.
Approved customer-initiated returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
Customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs for standard customer-initiated returns.

11. ORDER CANCELLATIONS
If you wish to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee cancellation once processing, preparation, fulfillment, or shipping has begun.
Orders that have already shipped cannot be canceled and will be subject to the applicable Return & Refund Policy.
12. SHIPPING & DELIVERY
Shipping and delivery are subject to our Delivery Options policy.
In-stock orders are typically processed within the processing period stated on our website. Products that are not in stock may require additional lead time.
Delivery dates and transit times are estimates unless expressly stated otherwise and may be affected by carriers, weather, holidays, product availability, delivery location, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Certain large or heavy products may be delivered by freight carrier.
13. SHIPPING DAMAGE
Customers should inspect shipments promptly upon delivery.
Shipping damage should be reported to Attic Ladders within 7 days of delivery together with the order number, photographs of the product, and photographs of the packaging.
Please retain all original packaging and do not install a product that appears to have been damaged during transportation before contacting us.
