Perfect. Good instructions.
Who knew there is website called attic-ladders.net? I was having trouble finding an attic ladder that fit the awkward opening we have (with NO give to tweak it) once I found the website from there it was easy - and quick. They had my odd ball size in stock so called on Monday it arrived by Friday was installed the following monday - with some paint on the ceiling and the board that shows the attic space, it looks like it was there forever. Wish I would have found this site months before - yes months of searching until the best indoor attic ladder with superlative customer service. I highly recommend to anyone - even those looking for standard sizes. Made in the USA and make to last. Couldn’t be more happy - well if I saved months of hassle going in circles perhaps 😂 10+ stars ⭐️
Looks perfect in the tight space I needed it for! I needed something other than the standard size of the typical attic ladder due to an existing whole house fan's location, so this worked out perfectly.
Great Product. Well built, very sturdy. The adjustability in the design was, for me, absolutely essential because I had to recess it into the ceiling to get as much height as possible [old, crooked ceiling, furred out w/drywall over plaster]. I was able to recess the whole unit upwards because the hinge does not swing directly off the back of the box (nice design, you get abundant clearance). Instructions are only fair/adequate. Did not trust the dimensions given for cutting the leg height. Instead, I ripped a 3/4" board to match the metal leg cross section and put the plastic leg boot on that to mark my cuts on the metal legs. I found the plastic boot only added about 1/8", not the 0.20" (I hate tenths of an inch anyway) specified in the instructions. [0.2" is somewhere between 1/4' and 3/16"] Anyway, great product. You only have to solve the carpentry problem to build a frame. The mechanical part is done - just pop it in. Way to go Poland! (The wood they use is denser that our pine; more like hemlock.)
